The Molecular and Cellular Biology Ph.D. graduate program at Tulane University offers a broad range of opportunities to carry out cutting edge biomedical research. Areas of specialization include gene therapy, genetic stability, cancer genetics, cancer immunology, environmental biology, infectious disease, genomics, proteomics, signal transduction, gene regulation, tumor virology. This interdisciplinary graduate program provides the opportunity for students to choose from more than 100 faculty in 16 different departments to pursue their research interests. The Tulane Cancer Center, the Tulane Center for Gene Therapy, the Center for Bioenvironmental Research at Tulane and Xavier Universities, and the Tulane National Primate Research Center offer additional opportunities for exposure to and training in some of the most advanced technologies in biomedical research.
